“I have never used poles before so may not be aware of all issues as yet. But I’m very impressed how more confident I feel using them on slippery walks. I wish I’d had some instructions with the poles as am unsure about the different ways of extending them.”

“I’ve used these a number for times now and they’re a great help when out trekking or hill walking. Easy to extend and collapse with height markers for easy adjustment. As a complete novice, I thought that the very small rubber stopper that came with the basket and was attached to the handle, was the stopper to actually use when trekking. So I put it on and within literally five minutes the metal point had worn through. I’m now realising that these are just to put on when poles are not in use. Turns out my pole set didn’t have a set of stoppers with it - they were the last in the shop so maybe they’d gotten lost or something. Wish I’d realised at the time as have now had to go and separately buy a set of stoppers. Hence four stars!! If buying, make sure there are the proper stoppers with it as well as the basket and fine stopper attached to the handle. Got mine half price in the sale so overall they’re a good buy and yes I’d recommend!! Especially helpful when walking downhill.”
