This jacket is the business. With its waterproof rating, windproof shell and taped seams to keep the rain out, it works well in the outdoors. And with its cool urban looks – handy adjustable hood and simple, yet effective, colourway, it loves a party too.

“I was looking for a light weight summer showers jacket. But this was the same price as a "mac in a pac" type thing so went for this instead as I wouldn't ever be putting jacket back in it's bag. It is a little heavier than what I expected but still ideal for a warm day out and about that has a chance of showers. Neck and shoulders are a little tight but I have a fat neck and am broad in the chest. It isn't uncomfortable just snug. Next size up would be too long on the arms and baggy round the belly. Got caught in a HEAVY downpour, walking into the wind. Jean's, socks and pants were soaked, with water dripping off the hood and sleeves. T-shirt was bone dry. Absolutely no wind or water penetration. I've paid 5 or 6 times the price for the same level of weather protection. Big hood for keeping the weather off your face but has a wee bit adjustment so it isn't obscuring your vision. Just as breathable as most, more pricey, jackets... which is not breathable really. Then again I start sweating the moment I get out a shower so that's an unfair criticism, especially as I say, I've NEVER found a truly breathable waterproof jacket. I've promised myself a pair of trousers of the same material and construction. Trespass, please make a Kelty over trousers. Most importantly, the jacket is a nice shape, nice and smart and tidy for day to day wear.”
