“Well, not thick exactly, but the fabric is stiffer than I expected. It is a very good coat, though, as waterproof as it says it is. One minor issue is the lack of pockets...it has one hand pocket either side, of course, and one small vertical zip pocket inside, but a couple of vertical zip pockets outside at chest level would be more practical for access in the rain. Also, a more capacious internal pocket for a bobble hat or similar would have been appreciated.”
