Had to purchase size larger than normal for fit. Look good boots, purchased for being waterproof and secure, looking forward to putting them to the test

My second pair, comfy waterproof, wear every day when walking the dog. Will purchase another pair when these ones kick the bucket

I purchased these a few months back before DLX started to reposition itself as an urban outdoor fashion brand somewhere along the lines of North Face. I bought these before hiking in Nepal, and had to aim off a size or two in order to get a fit. As boots, they're surprisingly comfortable, rugged and hard-wearing, sift and comfortable although not particularly breathable and foot power is recommended to keep them fresh. In the Nepalese monsoon season I was convinced I'd erred in not buying some costly brand name, and figured I'd have trench foot in no time. To my great surprise, these have proved surprisingly resistant to water including deep puddles and mud a few millimetres short of the laces. The main downside now is that I bought them for 70 pounds or so, with a modest discount for completing an online questionnaire. I now see they have effectively doubled in price to around 150 - plus GBP. Good as they are - better for sure than the faithful rhythmic MK1s I once used - I would struggle to justify to my wallet going northwards of 100-110 GBP on them. Definitely a good boot though and surprised me with the durability.
