“I am really very pleased with this coat. I spent ages doing some on-line research. Ideally I wanted a black parka style coat that was warm (but not too bulky), had a fur trimmed hood that wasn't too enormous, had several pockets, was waterproof and looked fashionable. Lots I saw had most of those requirements, but they just looked so old-fashioned and dowdy. When I finally found this style, I was super excited, but the website stated that it was currently unavailable in M and L sizes! I was so disappointed and wondered if that meant it was the previous season's stock and there would be no more manufactured, or if it was just out of stock. So I started on my search again, but just could not find anything I liked quite so much as this coat. A few weeks later, I happened to check availability again and was overjoyed to be see it was listed again. I did wonder what size to order, as previous reviews had stated it came up rather small. I am a size 10-12 and in the end decided to order the medium. It is spot on! I don't normally wear thick jumpers underneath, the coat is warm enough without for me, but even so I probably could wear one if needed. It has also been tested out in the rain, as I unexpectedly got caught in a short but fairly heavy downpour last night. I remained dry! I love the soft fleece inside the hood and at the top half of the coat, the rest of the coat is beautifully quilted with a handy inner drawstring to pull things tighter if required. But most of all, I just love the design of this coat! The biker-style zips on the cuffs, (which do actually work) and also the zips on the front pockets (revealing deep inner pockets) just elevate this coat into something a bit special! It was definitely worth waiting for and I would highly recommend it.”
