“I have this jacket in bright red and the colour is stunning. The jacket is a nice style with great stud buttons and a stripey hood. The shape is flattering. I have been out in a shower in it and it did the job. I have not worn it in heavy rain so cannot say if it is totally waterproof. There are a couple of smaller faults with this jacket: 1. The shoulders are too wide, especially for my small frame. 2. The sleeve lining (dark blue poly) is too long and baggy and hangs out at the sleeve end. Both of these things could have been sorted with effective quality control. Still, I got this in a knock down sale so am not complaining too much!”

“Loved this jacket over the summer, great for showers and short spells of rain. Absolutely useless in heavy rain. I do the school run on foot, and in heavy rain I was utterly soaked in about 30 minutes - all around the shoulders, upper back and all down my front (even with the flap over the zip). If you are looking for a light weight spring/summer/early autumn jacket, that will keep you dry for a short spell, then this is great. If you are hoping this is a functional coat that will keep you dry in heavy rain for anything more than half an hour, don't bother.”
