“I bought these boots recently on the high recommendations posted here and I don't regret it. They are very comfortable with a high warmth level. No, they don't come up very high on the leg but high enough to tuck leg wear in and keep the draughts out. I guess if you were in very deep snow, you would be wearing waterproof trousers as well. In the recent cold and wet weather we've suffered (no snow in my part of the country), they have been perfect. I've warn them for hours at a time. I am usually a 5-5.5 shoe size and purchased a size 6 in these which fit perfectly; I wouldn't have wanted any bigger but do go up a size from your usual. I've not needed to wear thick socks to keep my feet warm either, they've been toasty inside the boot. They look smart and fulfill their function excellently.”
