“Although the Anniversary Rose was supposed to be delivered on the 1st of September(Friday) so avoiding been held in unsuitable conditions for the weekend, (as recommended by Tree2mydoor.com) it was not actually delivered until the 4th September(Monday) The Rose was with DPD for delivery for the Friday but remained in the same place till the Monday. When you pay for next day delivery you expect it to happen. When I phoned DPD customer services on the Friday to query why the delivery had not yet occurred I was advised the dispatch staff had gone home! Although the recipients of the gift were grateful for the gift it would have been nice if they had received it when it should have happened and not made me feel inept and the recipient wait for delivery updates on the Friday. Will I use this service again, maybe, if the courier company is different.”
