“Have fitted and owned four different Travall dog guards over the years. This one once fitted is secure and looks good but the left and right support legs are not labelled and initially this made it impossible to get into the car, a simple L/R label on the legs themselves or the shrink wrap packaging could avoid this.
Also not so keen on the hooks which attach to the lashing points via the rods on this one, they are brass coloured (not colour matched to guard like previous) AND more importantly they have sharp points which jut out into the boot compartment, so potentially could injure any dogs who move around during transit (mine doesn't so will be OK).
So called "vehicle specific" fitting instruction video was for a Passat which was quite different from my Golf.
