“Ordered a solid oak mantle beam online, all delivered fine and fitted it myself which was quite easy with the two fitting screws. Hardest part was getting the measurements right for it to be level and exactly the same place as the holes in the beam. Colour is great, we chose danish oil and it matches our other oak bits and pieces nicely. Overall very happy with it and when I did have a question I phoned and left an answer phone message and they phoned me back promptly to answer my questions. Definitely recommend.”

“Beam size is perfect, pre-drilled holes and screws made the installation easy. Delivery time was long and the colour isn't exactly what I thought it would be. As well we had to remove small pieces of tissues that got in the cracks (probably when staining it).”

I have checked our system and it was dispatched within the estimated dispatch time - we do not work the weekends. We are sorry to hear this, perhaps it might have been a bit of the towelling that we use to stain the beams, I will raise this with the finishing department, sorry for any inconvenience caused.

“Love our oak beam. I ordered the classic and the colour is beautiful. We were surprised how easy it was to fit. We made a template from back of beam and transferred the markings onto the wall. Took two of us to hold the beam and slide it into place. Our room was instantly transformed. Superb quality.”
