Hello Peter, Thanks for the review. I am glad to hear you are happy with how the beam looks. I am disappointed to see you have given us 1 less star due to the weight of the beam. You have bought a solid oak beam so it is to be expected that it will be a heavy item. The only way to avoid this is to buy a beam that is not solid oak and made from a different material or a soft wood.

“Beautiful looking mantel piece and very happy with product. We did have one issue with wrong supports being sent out but a quick email and very quick reply back the issue was resolved and I would not hesitate in using them again.”
