“Ours looks just like the picture, it was the finishing touch to our fireplace. Colour was a very good match with our furniture. The alining of the support screws was our major concern, getting them aligned so that all were load bearing was a head ache, we eventually used a laser level. A couple of observations, when ours arrived one end was slightly damaged as the packaging did not protect properly, but the damage was negligible. Better packing for ends would solve this, the other was maybe a template for drilling.”

“I’ve been disappointed with this item. I followed the instructions prior to getting it fixed to the wall and it’s massively warped to the extent it’s pulled away from the wall leaving a huge gap and an uneven top surface. I did write to Traditional Beams many months ago but got no response in reference to this issue. Just be careful.”
