“The shelf is satisfyingly sturdy and has just the right look for where I put it. The ordering process was straightforward and I received regular updates by email on the progress of my order. Purchase was made on Fri 29 April and I received email updates on: production (Tue 3 May); shipping (Fri 6 May); and delivery (Mon 9 May). Delivery was via DHL and all parts arrived in perfect condition. Extra (i.e. spare) screws and wall plugs were supplied. Fitting instructions were available online. It may have been an error on my part but fittings supplied were for installation in a masonry wall. I was installing on a plasterboard wall but a quick trip to a DIY store to purchase GripIt plasterboard fixings (about £5) sorted this. The screws supplied with the GripIt fixings, combined with the close fit of the shelf on the brackets, meant I had to drill clearance notches into the shelf but this was reasonably straight forward. I’ll add that I’ve little-to-no experience in DIY so if I can do it then you can. Happy with the purchase and would order through Traditional Beams again.”
