“We wanted some wooden floating shelving to finish off our living room, but we have a new build with plasterboard walls everywhere! We were about to give up when we found these. We were nervous about fitting them and whether the Grip-it fixings would do the job, but they’ve been absolutely fine and the shelves are up and firmly attached to the wall. It’s the finishing touch we were after and we are very pleased. They were competitively priced too. My only very tiny gripe is that you need to buy a 20mm spade bit to drill the holes in the wall. If you buy a Grip-it kit from any hardware retailer, the kit comes with the drill bit, but it is not supplied here.”

“Really pleased. Excellent quality, colour exactly as I wanted. Reasonably easy to fit for my DIY hating husband. Fitted 3 inches above radiator which hasn't been on cos it's summer - hopefully won't be any problems.”

Hi Diane, thanks for your review we are pleased to hear you are happy with your purchase and the easy installation process :) A general rule is that the radiator needs a minimum of 10% of its height in clearance. So as an example if your radiator is 36 inches in height, this means it needs at least 3.6 inches in clearance around all sides, if it does not meet this criteria then I would recommend to leave your radiator on a low setting to avoid any movement.

“Ordered this for my kitchen, delivery was very good and nice product. Only negative is it is a little darker than the picture, however I will buy again.”

As oak is a natural product each piece can vary with regards to the colour as some pieces are naturally lighter/darker than others - it all depends on what tree it has been cut down from.
