“An easy bbq to put together and has all you could need to cook a great feast for lots of people. However, I have used it once and as I cleaned it a small area of paint came off on a flat edge. It has revealed the unprotected metal. You invest time to put these items together and a lot of money - you do not expect the finish to be poor - but it is. I would love to have returned it but I have to dismantle it and have no box or packaging. I have put my own metal paint on to protect it - hopefully this will work. What should have been a great experience and product, is now tainted.”

“So far so good! 4.5/5 stars!!! I pondered between this and the PitBoss 3-in-1 and I’m glad I went for this and avoided the electric grill/smoker. Out of the box 4/5: Very well packaged. The bbq is sturdy, well built and a decent size. It has great cooking options. Hinge bolt missing from the smoker box. Building the bbq 4/5: I was able to put it together solo but would have been quicker with two people as per the instructions. It was pretty straight forward although some of the nuts connecting the burner ring unit to the gas grill were a bit tricky to get on due to the confined space. I’d suggest these are turned so the screw head is the gas grill side instead of underneath and to the side of the burner. Delivery and Customer service 5/5: Delivery was fast and right on time. The guys were kind enough to wheel the large box around the back to the garden. The smoker was missing a hinge bolt but customer services were quick to respond and issue a bag full of different screws (I’m waiting on delivery but I’m sure they’ll arrive!). There is a decent amount of residual smoke that enters the smoking box from the charcoal grill without charcoal being on the smoking tray, so once you add charcoal to that to cook I’m full confident that a decent smoked product to come out. Gas grill 5/5: Great burners, easy to set up and once you read how to properly light them, they work first time every time! Charcoal grill 4/5: My only criticism is the charcoal grill is fiddly to move up and down especially when the grill is on and temperature control required. But I’m sure there’s a knack that I’ll get used to. Besides I knew this when buying the bbq so can’t really blame the manufacturer. Smoker 5/5: Not used yet but from the amount of residual smoke I’ve seen this looks like it’ll be great! Sauté burner 5/5: Great burner, easy to use and when not in user the top can be used as a side table. Other 5/5: Temperature gauges are accurate. I have an Ooni pizza oven so use an infrared thermometer and checked the temps of the bbq and found them to be pretty accurate. The charcoal grill keeps a decent heat for a while after cooking. Overall would I buy the unit again? Yes - at this stage, 2 weeks and 3 cooks in, I definitely would. We’ve a garden party for 40 this weekend, let’s see if I still have the same thoughts after!”
