“I recently bought the tower VL100 optimum. Anti tangle cordless vacuum. Initially I was going to buy a shark cordless due to the namesake but decided to take a chance on the tower VL100 as the battery life much exceeded the shark cordless plus the shark had very mixed reviews, therfore I took a punt on this and I'm so glad I did, it cleans the laminate flooring like a dream, the velvet brush bar makes sure not to scratch or damage the laminate, or floor tiles. The battery life is amazing. Due to the vacuum being so efficient at picking up I only need to use it on the clever auto mode that literally detects particles and will increase the suction accordingly. I'm a very thorough cleaner and I can do a large living room, kitchen, bathroom and conservatory for 2 days plus 2 quick evening flicks as I like to call them on a single charge. This may not sound a lot to newbies to cordless cleaning but take it from someone who has had a cordless with only 16 mins usage before needing re charge. It takes around 3 hrs to fully charge the battery ready to go again. The handy stand is great to store it under the stairs as it doesn't stand alone but I don't find that an issue whilst cleaning as I just lay it down flat. Overall this is a nifty powerful cleaner that if like me you like a daily thorough clean(henry hoover user) this is the vacuum for you. The battery life is amazing, the suction is great and it's also good in shaggy rugs, no pulling or knotting the pile together, it seamlessly goes from laminate to pile rugs. I highly recommend this vacuum over the big vacuum names any day!”
“I was disappointed with my new purchase but had destroyet all my packaging as felt strongly to return the product it does not have a great deal of suction. I am forever picking up pieces / dust it has missed. Not good value or quality .. next time will buy a shark as heard are good.”
“I received end of March and only used maybe once a week and has now started to release dirt once the machine is turned off I have had to buy another make as th is is a waste of time I have cleaned filter and checked for blockages nothing and too late to return for a refund gutted”
“Really bad at picking up, requested a refund and have been told it’s not acceptable as it has been used and not in original packing anymore, of course it’s not! Check returns policy before you buy but I wouldn’t, have purchased a Vax at a similar price which is much better.”
