“First time user of air fryers, was nervous, but it was so easy and straight forward to unpack and use. I put 2 dusted plaice fillets and crinkly chips in to basket, hit the ''fish' icon and it automatically set the time to 18 mins and temperature to 180 C . After 10 mins I looked in and chips were browning so scooped them out and left the plaice fillets to finish. A couple of mins before end of cooking time, shown on the digital display, I replaced chips to reheat and then in 20 mins from start to finish, I had crispy, dusted plaice fillets and chips for two. In the time it would have taken for the oven to heat up. The fish coating was crispy whereas in the oven it is usually soggy and takes much longer. I have not used silicon basket yet and may not need to as the nonstick, removable base grill plate is sufficient. I think for two people I could have gone smaller sized but was unsure if it would cook 2 fish and chips all at once. The air fryer is larger that I was expecting but will store away in a cupboard. Summary: easy to use, effective, time and energy saving and very pleased with the results.”
