“This isn’t nearly as good as the Panasonic. It doesn’t have a decent program for brown bread, that’s gives enough time for the bread to rise. Its program is about 3 hours for brown, so it comes out quite dense. The recipes have high amounts of sugar in them (tablespoons instead to teaspoons), and there isn’t many of them either. The lid doesn’t close properly, and steam gets under the glass top, so the lcd panel steams up. When you open the lid that water runs out and you get a puddle behind the machine. You’ll find identical bread makers marked under different brands, so Tower don’t even appear to make this, someone else manufactures it and sticks a Tower label on it. This kind of negates the advantages of branding if you think about it.”

“A slight disappointment in that the interior light does not come on, as indicated in the manual, and the digital display is fogged with moisture after its first use.”

“Internal light does not work condensation between viewing windows and inside the digital control panel. Seems to bake well.”

“Haven't had chance to use it yet. Been reading instruction manual. However item looks good. Well packaged for delivery,although cardboard box in which packed had tear on one side and plastic outer wrapping a small puncture. Doesn't appear to have affected the actual breadmaker, which is shiny and new and unmarked. Nice offer to extend warranty from 1 to 3 years. Only slight disappointment on reading instruction book which has basic recipes therein is item is sold with fruit and nut dispenser, yet norecipes including fruit and nuts.”

“I managed to remove the bin with great effort and placing it back in the machine later was difficult. I’m hoping that with use it will become easier. I couldn’t see through the window to see how my bread was doing as it was steamed over and the digital read-out which shows the remaining time isn’t lit. All in all, not very impressed”

“Light option +- does not work. STOP and PAUSE does not work either only the start. I only noticed this after a couple of bakes and could not be bothered to send back and it hadn't affected baking . Apart from these issues it bakes bread well.”

“Disappointed, we have had to send it back ! The internal light did not work and there was an acrid smell of electrical burning the first time it was used. We have asked for a replacement, it’s been over a week, and we. Haven’t even had any communication from Tower. Not very happy…..”
