“Warranty doesn't cover spares, I guess that isn't unusual. Problem with the previous one was a washer around the spindle -eventually it wears and comes out and I can't see how I would fit a new one in even if it was supplied. Did try using washer under the paddle but that didn't work ideally so guess we should expect to have to replace bread barrel every 200 loafs or so. Anyway arrived promptly and it fixes most problems though the paddle is a little hard to remove”
“The replacement part was damaged - scratched and dented. They have acknowledged the problems, but I'm still awaiting feedback on whether they will replace it.”
“I paid for next day delivery, it was delivered 3 days later; dented. I have managed to push out the dent but it isn't perfect. I expected it would include the paddle, which I have now ordered and is currently out of stock. Hence the two stars.”
“Delivered promptly and works fine but was disappointed that it arrived with a dent in the side and scrapes in the metal. Also, I was expecting it to have a paddle inside. Luckily I saved my original paddle.”
“Barrel is good quality, but how good is the O-ring seal on the stirrer drive shaft? I had to by a new barrel because the O-ring seal had catastrophically failed and dropped out. Inspection of it showed it had enlarged and very soft. Is the material used fit for purpose?”
