Good Food 1.6 Litre Soup Maker Reviews

4.4 Rating 5 Reviews
Effective, easy to use and reasonably priced soup maker I bought for £45 inc shipping using an online discount code. Similar size to a large kettle so storage between use isn’t an issue and it makes about 4 portions at a time - a nice number. The Sauté function is handy but only with customer support did I find out how to terminate this function mid 10 minute default cycle. Why doesn’t the user manual include an explanation? Despite the Good Food association Good Food only provide about 10 recipes specifically designed for the soup maker. Disappointing! Couple of other things. Once the ‘top’ of the soup maker is removed it is awkward, top heavy and unstable with no easy way to lay to one side to avoid the blade damaging worktops, etc or even damaging the blade itself. That’s a design issue that needs attention. Not only that, when removing the head unit there is a danger of the blade catching and scraping the no-stick surface of the soup maker. Despite all that I am quite pleased with my soup maker and the resulting soups that I have made with it.

So easy to use and makes delicious soup in under 30 minutes. I love using it after work for a quick, healthy meal. Smooth or chunky, it always turns out perfect, and it’s quick to clean too.

If you want a soup maker without Keep Warm or Reheat functions, this will do the job.
