“The batch previous to this one did not work well and would not dissolve properly in the premix. I use a spray system to add the flocculant over the surface of the pool. This lot worked fine and after three days the pool was crystal and was vacuumed out OK. So what was wrong with my earlier batch?. This one dissolved immediately to give a clear liquid. The earlier one the liquid was cloudy. I should add that the method I use involves adding the floc to about 3 litres of warm water then spraying the surface with about 250 ml to a watering can. This method I have used for years. It is the only one which will work to remove large quantities of yellow pollen which accumulate in the pool sometimes with heavy rain sourced from flowering lime trees.”
