“We got this to replace our old Makita router in the same size, comfy to use with handles well thought out. After using the Makita we all said we would not use Trend again. The only complaint I have is that we found if using smaller shank bits sometimes they moved in the sleeve, an interchangeable collet system like the trend ER collets would be better. The fence on our old one was a good quality one with fine adjustment. The fence that came with the new router has been made as cheap as possible, we threw it in the scrap bin after checking that the old one fit the new router.”
