“Needed to cut back about 250 yds of woody and soft stemmed invasive vegetation up to 7 ft high along an access lane without using a ladder. A 4AH battery attached to the trimmer nearly got it all done and a standby 2AH got the job finished. The trimmer got through some small finger-width woody stems reasonably well and eased through the softer stuff. It is weighty which the shoulder strap helps with, though a choice of hook-on positions to match the actual balance point would be useful. Using it for an hour is a good workout and thick gloves help with the vibration and dealing with thorny cuttings. PPE is essential and non-negotiable. It is easy to set up and take apart for storage, with due respect paid to the very sharp blades. The cutter/motor adjustable connection to the extension is not rigid though this does not significantly detract from (or add to) the trimmer’s performance. Overall I’m pleased with the unit’s functionality. I cannot yet comment on it’s longevity. Very competitively priced and promptly delivered in original manufacturer’s packaging. Good job all round.”
