“These are very high quality shoes, well constructed and presented. You smell the leather when the beautifully packaged box is opened. What strikes you when seeing them is the craftsmanship and applied patina. While more structured than softer loafers or mocs they are comfortable and attract many compliments, most often from the wearer. The leather sole’s partial rubberisation gives reassuring grip on wooden floors, tiles and carpet. Fit is not narrow and the sizing true to measurement which is not always the case with many 45-47 sized shoes. Using the measurement guide on the website is recommended. I bought about half a size bigger and popped in a leather insole and it’s very comfortable. These shoes are extremely versatile and will stylishly dress up any neat casual outfit. Think selvedge jeans with a great shirt or polo. With care (shoe trees, careful polishing of the patina and resoling) they will last a long time. Highly recommended, these shoes really are as good as the photos make out.”
