“I love the versatility of a penny loafer, particularly in brown, but generally find most designs a bit boring. Not so these, which have an artful, and not monochromatic, colourway, and are decidedly masculine with a chiseled toe. Very attractive. A little wider in the foot than other TB shoes, so consider sizing down, or adding an insole, especially if you're planning to wear sockless.”

They are a lovely shoe and your description of them not being boring because of the patina colour and the style is perfect. They do fit ever so slightly larger so we do like to recommend dropping down to the nearest whole size if you are in between sizes or as you mention trying a leather insole like the Thomas Bird ones we sell.
