“This is my second pair of these boots. My first pair is still being worn almost 10 years later but are now a bit worse for wear with holes starting to appear in the leather at the seams and the tread on the sole is all but gone. Having worn them for 10to18 hours a day at least 3-5 times a week (sometimes every day), I do think they have done very well to last as long as they have. The old boots didn't take long at all to form to my foot and have been incredibly comfortable.
I would highly recommend these boots to anyone who needs something they can live in, something sturdy, comfortable and easy to keep in good shape. Over the years, my original Ariat Heritage Ropers have been kept in shape with a combination of Vaseline, saddle polish, Dubbin leather dressing and a variety of brands of waterproofing sprays and i plan on doing the same for these new ones.
I have attached photos of my old and new boots, just to show how they have worn in over the past decade. As you can see, the old boots still have plenty of wear left in them and they will be fine for around the yard for a number of years to come.”
