“Sponge Scourer - We decided to get a years supply. It is a small move away from plastic as much as we can in a practicable way. It was a leap, not knowing much about the product (no we don't watch dragons den) - but we are now in our third week of using the same scourer - it's clean, washable and we have stopped three plastic scourers from going into landfill. Purely about the product - it does what it says and there are no issues with its claims. It works.
The feeling that we are committed to one year (at most) and that is fifty two plastic scourers that will not end up in local landfill makes me feel good. In a perfect world these would be the default and plastic scourers banned due to environmental impact - perhaps soon.”

Hello, thank you for taking the time to review us. The sponge scourers need to be dried out before they can be packaged and dispatched to customers. Rinse under water and give them a little massage before use to soften them up. The sponges will become softer with continued use and washing up liquid. They will also soften up with usage, so the longer you use it, the softer and more malleable it gets. You can speed this up by popping it into the washing machine or dishwasher a few times.
