Eco Sponge Scourers (4 sponges) Reviews

I've had these for a couple of weeks and they're already miles better than the bog standard supermarket plastic sponges. They feel nicer to use, last longer and of course don't pollute the planet - the only negative is that the loofah section started to come away from the sponge almost straight away, so there's now a hole between the layers and I have to be quite careful when using it. If the two layers were more securely fixed together it would definitely be 5 stars.

Hello Hanne, thanks so much for the review. These sponges should last about a month each so we will get in touch to put this right for you. We have recently improved the stitching so that they are much stronger so hopefully the other sponges in the box will hold up much better.

The best swap I’ve made so far. They are better than plastic sponges, clean well, make better suds, dry fast after use, are dishwasher safe, and they do last a month just like the product description says. Brilliant product. Wish they were more affordable for people who don’t have as much disposable income and a variety of sizes would be useful.

The sponge and the loofah are great, and are way more flexible that other sustainable alternatives that I have tried. I've used three so far, but in all cases the loofah has separated from the sponge within a couple of day. They need stronger stitching!

Hello Anna, Thanks so much for your review! I can see you bought our products a few months ago now and I'm delighted to say that because of customer feedback we have now strengthened the stitching :-). We will send you a new box for you to try x

I’ve been looking for an eco-friendly substitute for a while and haven’t found anything that even comes close until this. It has a comfortable feel in the hand, does non-stick pans very well and cleans easily in the washing machine. I’m a convert.

Having tried several biodegradable dish washing pads with no luck, I was a bit hesitant to try these - I am so glad I did! They are great quality and really last. The sponge side is great for normal cleaning and the loofah side can be used when you need a bit more scrub. Recommended!

Very pleased with these - I have found them as good as the traditional sponges I used to use. Nothing has been too difficult for them so far, and they seem easily robust enough. So glad I’ve made the swap to these!

I am on my first Seep sponge, and am really pleased with it as an alternative to a plastic sponge. It has faced up to all washing up tasks and looks good too. My only gripe is that the two pieces started to separate after a couple of uses - it is still useable so not a big issue, but I think the two parts could do with stronger stitching.

I love the concept but they aren't as malleable as a regular sponge. Its much harder to get it into narrow spaces. I also feel I needed to use a lot more elbow grease in comparison to a non-scratch sponge, and even then I still needed to old one one hard stains. Hope it improves, particularly on being more soft/malleable

Hello Angela, great to hear you love the concept but find them a bit hard. We find they do soften up with use, especially after a clean in the washing machine or dishwasher. Hope it helps.
