“I've been using my new sponge for a month now and I'm very happy with Seep! I had been looking for a plastic-free kitchen sponge for a while and was very happy to find Seep. I had seen some reviews mentioning that the sponges didn't last too long as they become soft quickly but I had to try it out myself. I've been using the sponge for a little less than a month and my experience has been good. Right from the package, the rough side of the sponge is hard enough to scrub away more difficult spots (just like your average yellow kitchen sponge) and the sponge absorbs a lot of the soap- you don't have to add more soap like with other sponges. It is true, that because of it's loofah nature, the rough side becomes soft with time. Does it still scrub as good? No. But does it do the job? Yes.
I recommend Seep to invest some research into how to keep the loofah side rougher for longer!
Otherwise, one sponge perfectly lasts you for a month. I aim to cut it up into pieces and compost it when I'm done with the sponge. The price is good and the quality too!”
