“The price was good, BUT having spilt up with my wife , they wanted a recent bill in my name that I could not provide , so my van insurance was cancelled by the company/ broker, THEN they cancelled my insurance and charged me a cancelation fee plus admin charge . In over 40 years I have never had this problem before with any other insurance company.
After several phone calls they were of no help.

“Although we got there in the end, I had a struggle obtaining information regarding whether my NCD had been received or not. Took Octagon a long time to confirm and in the meantime, emailed me twice to require my NCD or policy would be cancelled if I did not supply. I had to battle, and eventually everything was fine, but worrying and upsetting.”
