When applied it gives the skin a subtle golden shimmer instantly, from the light reflecting pearls which are infused with the spray. This enhances the natural skin tone, however it is not a self tan. To apply to face, spray first onto hands, then rub into skin on face with your fingertips and palm to avoid contact with eyes.
