“Bought to strain two full teaspoons of powdered spices for a spice tea. Whilst it contains the majority of the mix, a little 'sludge' still gets through, but not enough to cause issues. Very good strainer, with a very fine mesh. Works well to ensure the spices can infuse. Very impressed with the quality.”

“Despite the box saying 'fine mesh prevents tea leaves escaping' some small leaves remain at the bottom of the cup. The bigger and more expensive loose tea will probably be contained in the strainer. The strainer was packed in a box labelled 'Zero Waste Club' and this box was packed in another box over twice the size with paper packing to fill up the space. Zero waste?”

“It doesn't work perfectly for it but I use it for coffee and it leaves very little traces, so it can certainly filter tea.”

“I love this. We were frustrated by tea balls that didn’t seal properly and gave us mouthfuls of loose tea. This is a brilliant replacement. Great brewing and flavour with minimal loose tea ending up in the cup. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Useful lid / drip stand. Really pleased.”
