“Mussel itself ok. Not much flavour but understand that as is frozen but SO many crushed shell pieces. Not just broken but CRUSHED. Ruined the sauce. Spoilt what would have been a lovely meal with a delicious sauce and lots of sauce/broth left to make a seafood risotto or a paella. But unfortunately it’s had to be binned. On the plus side we never found a closed one. Won’t buy again! 3kg spoilt! Photo is just residue in pan after disposing of liquid. Much more was spat out”

“I've only ever bought live mussels before, and swore I'd never buy anything else. But it was New Year, and fresh were not available, and I'd promised my young nephew mussels. These were excellent, really excellent, and I will buy again.”
