Hello Harry. Well, we're pleased you thought the quality was good. We sell our whelks in small packs and having looked around the alternatives (usually wholesale pack sizes), I think our price is fair. I can assure you that with packaging being very expensive, we use the minimum possible, **being what it takes to keep your order frozen en route**. I agree this might appear excessive on a small order (you ordered 2 packs of whelks and one of crabmeat), but any less, and your order would arrive defrosted (especially in the middle of August).
