Single layer of Coreloft™ Continuous at underarms, lower arm, sides and hood for breathable warmth and lower pack weight. Exceptionally versatile, comfortable, and dynamic, when not in use this parka can easily be stashed into a stuff sack.

Love this piece. I’ve built up quite a lot of the Arc system over the years but this fills a much needed niche. It’s lightweight, packs down small and has superb loft, so much so that it’s a challenge to get it back into the supplied bag (think ghostbusters trying to stow the Stay Puft man). Sizing is representative of a belay jacket so I got the medium (all my other Arc jackets are M too) and it layers over a mid-layer and shell no problem. For context, I have the Nuclei FL in a medium and I sometimes wish it was a smidge larger. Not the SV, it’s a great size, assuming you are using it as a ‘throw on over all’ layer. Warmth is very good and I was super toasty with a medium weigh base-layer, proton LT and shell in minus 5 Celsius, and I run quite cold. I prefer it to the Thorium which, despite being down, I don’t think layers or fits as well in a medium. Hood is massive so best worn with a helmet, I did have a bit of slippage in the toggles when cinching down right to the limit but I consider this pretty minor. Not much exposure to high winds and rain yet but the specs are promising. Perfect for me for ski tour transitions and lunch stops when below freezing as the attached (but removable) stuff sack allows quick deployment and stowage. I’m not sure how long it will stay this colour but we’ll see. 10/10 would recommend.

This packe down larger than the other inailation jackets by arcteryx, but it is extremely warm, ive been walking around in -20 with wind chill and the cold hasnt got through, fully recommend this item The orange colour is bright so works well in being seen, whether that is to cars and other walkers or to flag down helicopter and spaceships.
