“Absolutely loved the pencils but the packaging I'm afraid wasn't conducive to sending pencils through the post! A piece of tissue paper won't protect the lead from being broken inside as they are thrown around by posties and sorting machines - it needed some bubbble wrap to protect them. Love the product but I'm not expecting them to last past the first sharpening :(”

Hi Claire, Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review of our Sweary Pencils. The box that our pencils come in is very snug and so far this, combined with tissue wrapping, has proven to be a winning formula to reach customers in perfect condition. However, I'm aware that some packages can get thrown around more than others so please let me know if the graphite is broken in your pencils and I will be more than happy to post you another pack free of charge. “I can't really review the Curious Pancake shop as I found the pencils via a google search and purchased without browsing the store. However, the little details that came with the delivery (personalised thank-you note, lovely card about the shop owner and what it means to them..) were fantastic. A thoroughly lovely, personal touch that cuts through the sea of online obscurity. I get the sense Curious Pancake means a lot to the owner and is her passion.
