About the William Morris range William Morris, artist, philosopher, poet and political theorist, was one of the most outstanding influential designers of the Arts and Crafts movement. Through his company, Morris and Co he produced some of the most fashionable and exciting textiles and wallpapers of the late 19 th century. He found his inspiration in nature and Medieval art, but also employed the very characteristic Victorian taste for heavily detailed patterns and deep, sometimes earthy colours.
