“They are straight forward to fit seem to keep the sound down not as good as my closed speakers but they do a good job for any open air speaker though”
“Fitted 2 Polk V60 ceiling speakers to upgrade my 5.1 system to 5.1.2 for Dolby Atmos. To comply needed 2 Fire speaker hoods and after looking at various one's available chose the Firetopper Pro. It is not only a fire hood but also reduces acoustic sound from the room above. They have a sown in collar that surrounds the speaker and ceiling opening which the speaker clamps then keep in place. The other types of hoods are secured by metal brackets or adhesive.”
