But, two things are letting it down.... 1) the Bluetooth range is very limited and 2) I have connected this to my Bathroom TV and the speaker won't let the TV alter its volume. The volume is fixed at 50% or 100% via a switch. I have tried to look for a solution but no-one seems to have one?”

Thanks for the honest review. The Bluetooth range should be approx 10 metres which is a standard Bluetooth range, however different building types, celotex etc can alter this. However it should still be 5m + . Please let us know if it's not.
With regard to the television, it sounds like your TV is outputting a fixed level which is why it plays at full volume as the Lithe Audio doesn't control volume itself. Does the TV have a variable output/headphone output or can you go into the audio settings and change the output mode from "fixed" to "variable"?
