“I wanted a streaming amplifier that would work with my existing Google assistant mini-speaker... I've linked them together (straight-forward enough with the app) and I can now play any music or cast to my new speakers using voice commands. Brilliantly convenient. The Wiim Amp turns on/off automatically. Excellent sound quality, lots of different equalisation settings and....well, tbh, the functionality availble with this amp covers just about anything you could want to do with it (probably better if you read the specification). It comes with a remote control too, never used it, I just use voice commands. Love it. Oh, plenty loud enough too, I've not been anywhere near maximum output yet, and I do like to crank up my favourite songs.”

“A very impressive bit of kit. This replaced a small amp in the bedroom that I ran my TV through via optical. The change to HDMI Arc was the reason I bought it, meaning I could control the volume via the TV remote. The addition of streaming was a game changer though. Whilst I have some relatively decent bedroom speakers, I'd never played music on them before because the amp only had Bluetooth connectivity. With streaming and the Wiim app, which is the best app I've ever come across in hifi, I now have everything I need in the room. The inclusion of an EQ and room correction adds extra functionality and the amp integrates superbly with my terrible, cheap sub, which had been turned off because it was mushy, boomy and commandeered the room! A great buy.”
