“These follow in the tradition of the famous Stax electrostatic ear speakers of the 70’s/80’s and 90’s. Obviously different design but quality nonetheless. These phones are made in China but are of sound design and construction They are comfortable and relatively light to wear considering their design. The ear pieces come with both fabric and leather ear covers which should meet the most discerning listeners tastes. These are rechargeable with astounding battery life of 20hrs++. They can also be plugged directly into a headphone socket on an amp or DAC using the supplied lead The sound quality for the money is truly remarkable with the depth, tonal balance and clarity clearly audible. However if you are looking for holographic image quality then look elsewhere. Nonetheless this is a minor consideration taken overall. Excellent headphones and highly recommended”
