Very pleased with the sound and connectivity options of these speakers. I have the bass turned basically all the way down to avoid annoying my neighbours, but crank it up and, oh boy! The remote on the S351DB is plain and simple which actually won me over compared to the funky circular remote of the s350DB and the more expensive s360DB.

Upgraded to this from my Logitech Z4 which served me well for a decade. The biggest change for me was having bigger satellite speakers, the mids and highs were a lot better/ clearer coming from the bigger speakers. These speakers also do bass so you hear smaller bass sounds, especially when watching films, coming from the satellite speakers before the sub kicks in for the heavy lifting. It's been a month since purchase and I am absolutely loving them, especially revisiting old tracks and hearing instruments or sounds I hadn't heard before! Lots of connectivity options and you get a phono to aux and an optical cable in the box (about 1.5m each). I use the aux cable for the tv and the optical for my PC. The remote works well too, though you can't adjust bass or treble with it, just volume and changing source which you can do from the right speaker pretty easily (if its within reach). It's annoying the speaker cables connecting to the sub are weird propreitary cables; one looks like an old DIN connector and the other a VGA looking connector and one is shorter than the other (can't remember which) but it doesn't affect me as I have them on a PC desk so not much room to keep them apart to test the lengths. I don't think the whiny noise some have complained about with the S350DB is an issue on this, I've yet to hear anything coming from the speakers when I'm not listening to anything. I wanted to get into more serious speakers but didn't have the budget and knowledge to buy passive speakers and amps etc; this was a good compromise as active speakers and an introduction to bigger speakers. I bought this from Digitalis' eBay store as it was showing soldout on Amazon; regardless same seller and it was well packed and delivered promptly.

The sound is very good. Subwoofer powerful, i think to powerful for the subwoofer hole is provided and the sound is not 100% clear on Maximum volume.

Delivers a good sound and bass. But on Maximum volume the subwoofer hole it's to small for that power and it's making a sound... On pc mode it doesn't memories the volume after restart. On Bluetooth yes.
