“I just needed some speakers to use as monitors for my laptop mainly to listen to the video content that I am editing. These would be used for listening to music when I'm editing photo rather than video. I watched so many reviews on youtube about the 1280's and nearly went for those at first but realised that the 1855's gave you that little more power and bass / depth and I also liked the fact that they are slightly tilted upwards which directed the sound to me without having to put them on stands. They are not as good as my Bowers and Wilkins speakers but didn't expect them to be. For what I'm using them for they are great, and a great sound for something at that price point. I'm very happy with them”
