“Read reviews about the Mr5 speakers and took the plunge. Reasonably small, deeper than I thought they'd be but easily near field. I have mackie mr8s. I've had them for many years and love them. However, I have to constantly remix tracks that have been done with them. I'm simply not hearing important details that cause problems on every other system I listen with. The edifier mr5s genuinely supply me with the detail I'm missing when mixing. They don't flatter the sound, simply tell a more universal truth. Tracks I produce don't require further edits after further listening. Good purchase? Absolutely.”
