“When I realised my cartridge/headshell combo was the reason I lost one side and not the phono input in the preamp, this was a very quick fix. Eighty quid and K & B dispatched this within 24 hours. Plug and play. This sytem now consists of AT cartridge, Technics SL-1210 Mk2, Quad 44, Quad 405 and Celestion Ditton 66s. The weakest part of the system are my septuagenerian ears, so all I can say is that it sounds OK to me.”
