The new formula takes a bit more time to dissolve fully but with a bit of extra stirring it does. Works well with water or in coffee. Great taste.

Love the ingredients, and the flavour is pleasant (you can’t tell it’s bone broth). However the product texture is awful, I shake for 5 minutes with a protein shaker that makes my shakes very smooth, but this product still comes out all in powdery lumps and is not drinkable. I have to sieve it and then pick the lumps with a spoon. Improve your product texture/ability to disolve and I’ll be a customer for life!

Hi Ruth, Thanks so much for your feedback. We recently removed sunflower lecithin from our recipe to make the shakes as clean as possible. That means there’s no emulsifier helping everything blend, and because collagen is hydrophobic, it naturally resists dissolving in water. But it can mix smooth - it just takes a slightly different technique. Here's our guide for the best results: 👉 https://frejafoods.com/pages/how-to-use-freja-shakes And if you'd like any extra tips or mixing tools, our customer service team is always happy to help: hello@frejafoods.com 😊 Evie, Team Freja

Hi there, You're right; we’ve recently updated our shake formula to make it even cleaner and more nourishing. We’ve removed sunflower lecithin, which acts as an emulsifier, and increased the amount of protein and collagen per serving. That does mean the texture might be a little thicker or lumpier, but we think a few lumps are worth it for a more natural, nutrient-dense shake. A quick shake, whizz or blend is the best way to smooth it out. Here’s a simple guide to help you choose the best method for your routine: https://frejafoods.com/pages/how-to-use-freja-shakes If you would like the Vanilla flavour stronger, we'd recommend adding a couple drops of Vanilla extract. If you have any questions, please get in touch with our team at: hello@frejafoods.com Evie, Team Freja

Although i absolutley loved the taste, and was easily mixed in with drinks etc. My gut found the level of coconut necta too much to handle and contributed to more bloating. I think my nasty gut bacteria was in heaven though ! because i couldn't get enough. I try to keep clear of high GI sugars but i thought the coconut necta woul be low. Maybe just too much for me.

Hi Anthony, Thanks for the kind words on flavour. Coconut sugar is natural and unrefined, but we know it’s not for everyone. We’re relaunching the shakes soon with a simpler, improved recipe - hopefully a better fit. And if not, all our other products are completely sugar-free 😊 Evie, Team Freja
