“This is a great way to add nutrition to your food. I have used it to make myself home made cup a soups by adding various herbs and spices to it. I have also added it to other savoury meals to ensure it is nutrient dense. (No one will notice that its is in there) I have also had it on its own, which is nice, but I like to experiment with what I can do with it.”
“I bought this primarily for the high protein content (along with low calories) and it's certainly a great way of boosting your protein intake through the day. I chose the powder over the liquid because it's more economical and (hopefully) has a longer shelf life. I do find it has a bitterness if you try to drink the full 20g serving on its own with hot water (ie mixed with 250-300ml hot water). So I've been adding it to soups and other meals with sauces for an extra protein boost or mixing it with stock for a better flavour. If I'm just making a single serving of something like soup, I generally half the serving amount to 10g which makes it more palatable. It would be 5 stars if it weren't for the bitter flavour! I also really like the recipes that Freja provide - great inspo for using your bone broth!”
