“I had a Swiss Tool Spirit before for 5 years and it has been the most reliable piece of kit in my arsenal. I love everything for the design to the build quality. I love Victorynox and all their products. This new blak finish one is absolutely lovely and looks super smart. The only issue I have with this one compared to my previous tool which was a Spirit MBS is the case. My previous one had the brown leather case where this one came with the black nylon pouch and honestly I think the nylon pouch is absolutely horrible Everything for the build quality, to the design, even the material quality is very disapointing. The surface area on the velcro is too large and near impossible to open with one hand. the belt strap is thin in the wrong places and way too wide for a normal-sized belt. It's also aparetly "adjustable" which I didn't find to be helpful at all. It feels like the strap was made for a very think belt but even then I hardly see a way for the case to be handy and useful. That said it feel like a massive downgrade from the lovely tasteful leather case of it's chaper counterpart and I wish Victorynox made a special leather case for the MXBS range as it truly doesn't do justice to the stunning design, longevity and buildquality of their products.”
