“I've had a single blade Swiss Army knife with the Alox scales for around 50 ish years now. It is still a great knife though understandably showing its years of use. I wanted a knife that gave me a little more variety in daily use but that wasn't too heavy or full of tools I probably wouldn't have a use for. After lots of watching excellent You Tube videos I happened across the Sportsman and realised it had everything I needed. A great blade and a nail file/ nail cleaner ( more useful to me than a second blade) and just the right amount of usefulness in the remaining tools. I've added a small screwdriver to the corkscrew ( a tip I saw others on You Tube do) and the small pin which may be just what I need one day. I know there are fancier models and I would have liked the scissors but I may be able to get another model in the future. I thoroughly recommend the Sportsman to anyone considering it in the future, a great knife from a great company.”

“I have carried one of these for many years of camping, narrowboating and work on flight simulators (the screwdriver is just the right size for the switch panels in a Tornado aircraft !). I broke the point of the main blade on my knife about 3 years ago prying a plastic cover from a fridge door hinge. (Incorrect useage I admit!) So I replaced it with the same model. That one, I thought I had lost earlier this year so bought this one. The "lost" one has since turned up so I now have a spare.”
