“We don’t have the room to play on or even so much as just store a table tennis table indoors so our only option was to buy an outdoor table. The traditional outdoor tables (the ones that fold) looked a bit fragile to permanently live outside so we decided to go for this one as it’s designed to do just that. Glad we did as this is the most robust table tennis table I’ve ever played on! The net is made of metal, the playing surface looks and feels like it’s bulletproof but actually plays really well with good bounce and spin reaction and the whole thing is extremely sturdy. We fixed ours to the ground using the fixings on the table legs which has made it feel more or less like a permanent structure. So far it’s been outdoors and uncovered since the day it was put up and it’s not showing even the slightest sign of fading or wear. I don’t know exactly what the surface is made of (some kind of resin apparently) but even with people being quite rough with it there aren’t any scratches on it so it looks good in terms of durability. The balls dispensers save a lot of hassle and we got some outdoor synthetic bats that permanently live in the bat holders when they’re not being used so everything that’s needed to play is at the table all the time without making a mess elsewhere. The fact that we haven’t even bothered with a cover says alot about the build quality of this table. We’re very happy with it and I would highly recommend this table. If you’re looking for one that needs to live outside on a permanent basis this thing is ideal.”
